The New Market is one of New Galaxy’s main structures, which is a marketplace for displaying, sorting, searching, buying and selling a wide variety of things farmed, harvested, crafted and created within the platform. Designed as a user-friendly setting for trade, users may communicate and negotiate on the spot and accomplish the deal securely.

• Security is one of the main features of the New Market and all trades in the marketplace will be firmly protected. We understand people’s concerns about the reliability of metaverse trades. Our solution is a safe wallet server, which is secured by SM2, an open public-key cryptography standard widely used by crypto exchange platforms. The communication in our server is encrypted via a distributed architecture.

• Our payment system is another feature of the New Market, which is compatible with both Web2 and Web3. The current challenge is that metaverse only manages to handle payment in Web3, i.e. cryptocurrencies, while non-crypto users are shut out. We aim to be an inclusive platform that even users with fiat money, i.e. people of Web2 can take part in the metaverse with New Galaxy Point (NGP).

New Galaxy Point (NGP)

• The New Galaxy ecosystem employs NGP, an in-metaverse point system created and built on by the New Galaxy. It is the platform reward points and circulates in our metaverse, which is the primary medium for transactions in the NFT marketplace. In the future, Galactic DAO membership is open to all NGP holders.
